Typeface – Modern No. 216
Elegant and calm, unhurried, as the modern serif typefaces tend to be, the ITC Modern No. 216 font family is the work of American type designer Ed Benguiat. This thoughtful take on modern typefaces—mashing stylistic influences from Bodoni and other Didone faces created during the late 1700s—was developed by Benguiat in 1982, more than 10 years into his tenure with the International Typeface Corporation (ITC) in his hometown of New York City.
